Introduction

Protecting consumer privacy is important to bSeen LLC (bSeen, "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose information about you. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our website, including https://bseentalent.com, and our mobile application (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by any third party through any content that may link or be accessible from or on the Services. Such third-party services include, without limitation, GetStream.io, Google Maps, and Auth0, which are governed by their own privacy policies and practices.

bSeen is based in the United States and the information we collect is governed by United States law. By accessing or using our Services or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the US. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as by adding a statement to our Services or by sending you a notification). You should review the Privacy Policy whenever you access our Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

This Privacy Policy aims to clearly outline our policies and procedures for collecting, using, storing and disclosing personal data of individuals. Personal Data We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including information:

  • Basic identity and account information, such as your full name, email address, username, password, phone number, and other contact details you provide.
  • Profile content and media, including profile photographs, video content, skill demonstration videos, and any other content you choose to upload or display through your profile.
  • Employment, education, and professional background, including prior job titles, employers, start and end dates, educational institutions attended, degrees earned, professional licenses, certifications, volunteer activities, and community or non-profit involvement.
  • Skills, qualifications, and interests, including hard and soft skills, certifications, desired job titles, preferred employment types (such as full-time, part-time, freelance, or internship), internal "stretch assignment" preferences, and cultural or organizational fit indicators (including keyword-based preferences you provide).
  • Availability information, such as your anticipated timeframe for starting new roles (for example, immediately, within three months, six months, or one year).
  • Location information, including general location information such as city, state or region, and country, as well as precise geolocation data (including latitude and longitude coordinates) when enabled and consented to during onboarding.

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically as you navigate through our Services. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies.
  • From third parties, for example, our business partners.

The information we collect on or through our Services may include:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us, and when you report a problem with our Services.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.

As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies, such as Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Firebase Crashlytics, to collect certain information about your device, browsing actions, and usage patterns, including:

  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

The information we collect automatically may include personal data, or we may maintain it or associate it with personal data we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our Services and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:

We are committed to taking all commercially reasonable and appropriate steps to protect the personal data that we hold from misuse, loss, destruction or unauthorized access. We do this by having in place a range of appropriate technical and organizational measures. These include measures to deal with any suspected data breach.

However, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a username and password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this username and password confidential. We ask you not to share your username or password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although bSeen does its best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted through our Services. Any transmission of personal data is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Data

We will not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which we have collected it unless we believe that the law or other regulation requires us to preserve it (for example, because of a request by a tax authority or in connection with any anticipated litigation) or if we require it to enforce our agreements.

When it is no longer necessary to retain your personal data, we will delete the personal data that we hold about you from our systems. While we will endeavor to permanently erase your personal data once it reaches the end of its retention period, some of your personal data may still exist within our systems, for example if it is waiting to be overwritten. For our purposes, this data has been put beyond use, meaning that, while it still exists in the electronic ether, our employees will not have any access to it or use it again.

You have various rights in relation to the personal data that we hold about you. We may not accommodate a request to change personal data if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the personal data to be incorrect.

  • You may confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of the personal data we process. To the extent feasible and required by state law, depending on your state, data will be provided in a portable format.   • You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data that we maintain, considering the information's nature and processing purpose.
  • You may request that we delete personal data about you that we maintain, subject to certain exception under applicable law.

bSeen retains full copyright ownership, rights and protection in all materials contained on our Services.

bSeen takes claims of copyright infringement seriously. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law. If you believe any materials accessible on or from our Services infringe your copyright, you may request removal of those materials (or access to them) from our Services by submitting written notification to our copyright agent designated below. In accordance with the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), the written notice must include substantially the following:
